ST.
FRANCIS BORGIA GRADE SCHOOL
UNIFORM
POLICY
*New shirt policy for the 07/08 school year.
See the section on shirts below
The administration,
faculty and staff at St. Francis Borgia Grade School consider the Dress
Code important to our school environment.
We feel that the manner in which a student dresses has an impact on
behavior and attitude. Nothing
should be worn that could be the cause of disruptive behavior.
It is the responsibility of the parents/guardians to cooperate with
the school faculty and administration in enforcing the dress code.
Uniform guidelines are on the following pages, please be aware of
the related rules below:
·
At dismissal students should leave the building in full
uniform unless there is a reason, approved by the principal, not to.
·
If a student comes to school without the appropriate
uniform, parents/guardians will be notified and expected to bring the
correct clothing to school.
·
There will be one day a month when students will not be
required to wear their full uniform. No
student should ever feel he/she must wear something other than the
approved uniform on these “special” days.
·
When at all possible, students will go outside for lunch
recess or other instructional activities.
It is imperative that students have weather appropriate jackets,
coats, gloves, hats, etc.
