School Cancellations - Parents will be notified using the school's telephone broadcast system.  Cancellations will also be posted on TV stations 5,4,&2 and radio KLPW & KSLQ.  Once children have arrived at school for the day classes will not be cancelled.  If bad weather arrives during the school day and parents feel the need to get students, they may do so.

January 13, 2010 thru February 24, 2010 - Six Flags' Read to Succeed Program. Students in Grades K - 6 may participate.  Information and reading log will be sent home on Thursday, 1/7/10.  Please encourage your child to complete six hours of recreational reading and return the reading log to his/her teacher by February 24, 2010.  Late forms will not be accepted.

January 25, 2010 thru January 29, 2010 - Early registration for current 3yr. Preschoolers and/or students entering preschool who have an older sibling enrolled at SFBGS preschool - gr. 8.

January 31, 2010 - Open House & Education Fair, 8:00 A.M. - 11:00 A.M.

January 31, 2010 - Pro-life Breakfast to benefit the 2011 8th Grade Washington, D.C. Pro-life trip.

Wednesday, February 3 - Mismatch Dress Day
                                       All School Assembly, Purina Farms @ 1:00
Thursday, February 4 -    Movie Day
                                      Students will be treated to a movie in their classrooms 12:30-2:30
                                      Popcorn and soda will be provided by CSW Committee
                                      Students may wear movie themed shirt with uniform
                                      Collection of microwave popcorn to be donated to police, fire & 
                                      ambulance stations.  Movie rental gift certificates will also be given
                                      these community service providers
Friday, February 5 -        Blue & Gold Day
                                      Students may wear blue/gold shirts with uniforms
                                      Staff Luncheon
                                       Faculty vs 8th gr. volleyball game @ 1:00
                                       2:00 Dismissal
Sunday, February 7 -       Coffee and donuts after all masses

February 1, 2010 thru February  5, 2010 - New Student Registration for the 2010/2011 school year.

February 4, 2010 thru February 18, 2010 - Re-enrollment for students already attending the SFBGS Pre- 4's thru gr. 7.  Re-enrollment packets will be sent home to each family on Thursday, February 4, 2010.  Deadline for re-enrollment is February 18, 2010.  A late fee of $50.00 will be assessed after the 18th.

April 10, 2010 - Trivia Night to benefit SFB Preschool.  7PM in Jesuit Hall.  Tables of 8-10 are available, $15.00 a person.  Each seat paid by 3/19 receives a free drink ticket.  Must be 21 to attend.  RSVP to Julie Lackey @ 239.4605 or 667.1973 or juleslackey@hotmailcom.  You may send reservations to school in an envelope marked "Trivia Night".
